The introduction of dual prizing at toll plazas is set to bring a major relief to the motoring public as toll fees can now be collected in foreign currency.

The announcement was made by the Finance Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube during his 2021 National Budget in November.

The prices are as follows;

Light vehicles – US$2.00

Minibuses – US$3.00

Buses – US$4.00

Heavy vehicles – US$5.00

Haulage Trucks – US$10.00

The announcement is set to bring ease of travel for motorists who have been facing challenges with Ecocash and swipe machine transactions due to network problems leading to long queues at toll points.
