Hon. Felix Mhona yesterday expressed his gratitude towards the commitment of roads construction contractors along Harare-Beitbridge road when he visited Bitumen World Quarry Station in Mwenezi during his Harare-Beitbridge familiarization tour to assess work-in-progress.
“Yesterday, l visited Bitumen World Quarry Station in Mwenezi. They are producing quarry stones for construction of Harare-Beitbridge Highway and their production capacity is 160 tonnes/hour”, said Hon. Mhona on his Twitter handle to the Freight Forwarders News Crew.
Last month, Eng. TK Chinyanga, Perm. Sec in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development confirmed that his Ministry is ready to work with committed suppliers and partners in the implementation of their ministry projects. Eng. TK Chinyanga said this when he was commenting on the CMED Booshoff road project in Sunningdale which was embraced by the Minister.
However, Hon. Mhona commended use of local resources for local developments as the only way to go.
He encourages all stakeholders undertaking the Ministry projects that Vision 2030 is attainable if all keep up with the momentum.
