Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development Hon. Minister Felix Mhona will this week tour Zimbabwe Dryport in Namibia at Walvis Bay.
In 2009 the Namibian Government grated Zimbabwe Government to lease and construct a Dryport on a 19,000sqm trash of land which according to Mr Godknows Marawanyika, NHS Chief Executive Officer, is already operational.
“The Dry Port is now fully functional and effectively linking Zimbabwe’s trade with Europe and the Americas” said Mr Godknows Marawanyika.
“This Dry Port is being managed by the National Handling Services (NHS),a company that traditionally is known
for handling goods at Zimbabwe’s Airports” Mr Marawanyika further explained.
